HOOF-LIFE ORTHO-PAK Silicone Putty is formulated specifically for industrial applications where shock absorption and support are necessary. Two formulations are available: SUPER CUSHION 26 (blue) and FIRM SUPPORT 48 (pink). SUPER CUSHION 26 is available in 2 lb. or 5.4 lb. total weight kits. These two-component systems are activated by mixing equal parts together until a uniform color is achieved at which point the hoof is packed and a full pad is applied. The full weight of the horse is applied for a custom fit and excess material is trimmed away. Benefits include: orthopedic support for the coffin bone; increased blood circulation; conforms to hoof with the movement of the horse; does not shrink and remains resilient throughout the life of application.
